How to get here?
The event will take place in Dolní Vítkovice – in the Small Hall of the Multifunctional Gong Auditorium (address: Ruská 2993, 739 30 Ostrava – Vítkovice, GPS: 49.8191522 N, 18.2795117E). The main entrance to the Gong Auditorium is from the side of the building facing the U6 Science & Technology Center. Free parking is available in the compound. Use either the parking lot in front of the Gong Auditorium or parking on Ruská Street.
By car
Along Ruská Street. You must pass under the tram overpass and Místecká expressway. You can park directly in the Dolní Vítkovice compound. Free parking places are available directly on Ruská Street or in the parking lot near the Gong Auditorium.
By train
From the Central Station take tram No. 1, 2 to the “Dolní Vítkovice” stop (note: do not get off at the “Dolní Vítkovice – Hlubina” stop). From the tram stop, take the stairs under Místecká Street and walk about 300 meters to the Gong Auditorium.
By public transit
Tram No. 1, 2, or No. 6 and 10 to the “Dolní Vítkovice” stop (note: do not get off at the “Dolní Vítkovice – Hlubina” stop). From the tram stop, take the stairs under Místecká Street and walk about 300 meters to the Gong Auditorium.
You can use touchless payment (card) to pay the fare for public transit or buy a credit ticket from the vending machine. More information about public transit is available here: https://www.dpo.cz/travel/
Which language will be conference be held in?
The conference languages are Czech and English. Two-way interpretation is arranged by the organizer, both at the venue and for online streaming.
Is there a fee for admission to the event?
Admission to the event is free. However, prior registration is required. To attend in person, please register by 16 October 2023.
How are meals and accommodation arranged?
Refreshments for participants at the event are free of charge throughout the conference program (please mention any dietary restrictions, e.g., allergies or vegetarian requirements, in the registration form). Accommodation for guests is not arranged. You can take advantage of the wealth of hotel services in Ostrava: Hotel Mercure, Imperial Hotel Ostrava, Ruby Blue, Clarion Congress Hotel Ostrava, Harmony Club Hotel, Quality Hotel Ostrava City).
Will recordings of the speakers’ presentations and photos be available?
Yes. After the event, we will send registered participants a link to the photo album and recordings via YouTube.com. All the recordings will also be available on this website after the event.
